    Jumbo plug plant

     

    Pansy-like, purple flowers are a good early nectar source for bees and butterflies.

     

    Caterpillar food plant of the Silver Washed Fritillary, High Brown Fritillary (Britain's most endangered butterfly), Small Pearl Bordered Fritillary, Pearl Bordered Fritillary and Dark Green Fritillary.

     

    Advised to plant in informal groups to encourage recognition and attract bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
