    Jumbo plug plant (70cc)

A very good nectar plant, which is great for attracting beneficial insects to the garden, such as hoverflies, which eat aphids, whitefly, blackfly, and mealybug.

All parts edible, bright blue flowers look stunning in salads and cakes.

Young leaves can be used in salads, a little like dandelion leaves.

Roots are famed for containing inulin and can be roasted to make a caffeine-free coffee alternative.

Advised to plant in informal groups to encourage recognition and attract bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
